In May of 2009 Lisa had the opportunity and privilege to attend the Interior Design & Art Fair in Dublin, Ireland. "The ability to connect with peers and former clients abroad enlightens ones mind and promotes creativity."

September 2009 saw Lisa H. Fitzpatrick at the opening of the Potomac Designer Show House in the Washington Design Center. A great venue to showcase new designers of the Washington Metro area.

In October 2009, Lisa attended the opening of the "new" Holly Hunt Showroom in the Washington Design Center. A great evening with such known furniture and lighting designers such as Holly Hunt and David Iatesta as well as Metro area Interior Designers and Architects.

In October of 2009 she attended the CharityWorks Greenhouse in Reston, Virginia. "Green design and the re-use of products can always be challenging and in many aspects can be expensive. It is great to see the continued persuit of the use of green products. With a better knowledge of green design a one can incorporate as well as create a great working dialog on their use with prospective and current clients."
